AcademicBanana provides AI-powered tools for generating academic figures (PNG) and diagrams (draw.io XML) from text input. The service is provided on a subscription basis with a free tier and paid plans.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or misleading
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Resell or sublicense access to the service without written permission
• Submit confidential or personally identifiable information of third parties

4. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the text you submit. The figures and diagrams generated from your input are yours to use for any purpose, including commercial and publication use. AcademicBanana retains no ownership over your generated outputs.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated figures will meet specific journal or venue requirements. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before submission.

6. Limitation of liability

AcademicBanana shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim.

7. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
