What we do

AcademicBanana is an AI-powered platform that converts academic text and plain-language descriptions into publication-ready figures (PNG) and editable diagrams (draw.io XML). Our pipeline — Planner, Stylist, and ImageGen — runs in parallel so most figures are ready in under 30 seconds.

Why we built it

Creating a single pipeline figure for a paper can take hours in Illustrator or PowerPoint. We believed that time was better spent doing science. AcademicBanana was built to give researchers that time back.
